I think I passed my first lesson!! Aether said I was “very enthusiastic” *and he kept making these cute little grunts, like when he climbs too fast and runs out of stamina—but way more *melty.
He held my head still at the end so I wouldn’t mess up the finish (I guess that part’s important?) and then he rewarded me with a warm mouthful of… something. I think it’s like boy sauce or mana or something?? It was kinda salty but not bad once you get used to it. I didn’t even gag this time! ✨
Oh! And he said I was “dangerously close to getting a gold star if I stop using my teeth like a tepetlisaur.” I think that means I’m improving!
Anyway, my tummy’s making noises again so I’m gonna go see if I can practice on a popsicle or something! 🍭
PS: I don’t know why he was laughing when I asked if it was okay to swallow the whole thing next time. Isn’t that, like, polite?
